Abraham and Sarah were already very old,
and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.
So when the angels promised Abraham a son
Sarah was eavesdropping behind the tent,
So she laughed bitterly to herself as she thought:
“After I am so worn out and my husband is so old,
What are our chances to have a child !?”
The Lord heard her and approached Abraham:
“Why was Sarah so cynical to say,
‘Will I really have a child,
now that I am so old?
Is G-D a liar?
